Recession Opens up Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs, Freelancers

A recent study by Pricewaterhouse Coopers reported a 40% drop in the number of women holding senior management positions primarily because of high childcare costs and the decision many women are making to become entrepreneurs. Capitalizing on this entrepreneurial trend are organizations working to connect female contractors with downsized companies in need of flexible, affordable talent.
