SAT Game for Dummies Hit by Economic Downturn

BE Innovative Group Inc. (BIG Inc.), maker of the popular SAT Game For Dummies, the board game that helps with SAT preparation, announced that they may be the latest company affected by the economic crisis hitting North America. When their manufacturer, DeLano Service Inc. abruptly stopped returning phone calls and emails, one week prior to the ship date of the new and improved version of their game, BIG Inc. CEO, Elsbeth Vaino became concerned. When she found an article in The Allegan County News, stating that DeLano had closed its doors, her suspicions were confirmed. While the company had to make alternate arrangements for buyers, waiting to receive product, fortunately for BIG Inc., the company still had some games with distributors and retailers, so they could quickly turn their attention to the task of enlisting a new manufacturer quickly. Despite the circumstances, Vaino says the company remains committed to keeping manufacturing in North America and doing their part to prop up the economy. (PRWeb Jan 31, 2009)
